The Sapphire Octopus

The Sapphire Octopus is a surreal, wearable artefact. It's a one-of-a-kind sculpture forged into the form of a ring—handcrafted from molten sterling silver into a swirling, dreamlike creature. This being is composed of twisted ropes, serpentine limbs, squared and rounded forms, and silver droplets that suggest motion, fluidity, and something ancient yet alive.

At its crown sits a raw, deep blue sapphire, wrapped in twisted silver, serving as the head of this oceanic spirit. It is as much a creature as it is a myth—a symbolic guardian from the subconscious, pulling its power from the ocean floor and the cosmos alike.

This piece was created by Damian Ardestani, also known as XOV, and it exists only once in the world. There will never be another.
