About the Piece

"Fatherly Sorrow" is an art print steeped in emotion and the profound depths of personal loss. The original piece, created with the heavy heart of the artist mourning their father's passing, has been transformed into a Giclée print that carries the weight and texture of the original hand-painted work.

The print is dominated by a deep, resounding red, the color of vitality now shadowed by grief. Flecks of lighter hues struggle to emerge through the darkness, representing the flickering memories that persist in times of sorrow. The abstract forms and strokes converge in a somber dance, an echo of the turmoil and beauty that intertwine in the wake of farewell.

The Giclée technique preserves the intensity of the original painting's colors and the palpable rawness of the artist's brushstrokes, providing a tactile connection to the creator's emotional landscape. "Red Sorrow" is not merely a print; it is a passage through the stages of grief, a silent ode to a personal journey of loss and remembrance.
